Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

These bite-sized apple treats are so good, boasting juicy apple flavors as well as caramel and a wonderful cinnamon sugar coating.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 7½- ounce can biscuit dough
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 caramels cut in half
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Oil for frying
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a deep pot.
  • Stir the cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl.
  • Roll out the dough and cut into biscuits.
  • Put a tablespoons of apple pie filling in the middle of each one then add half a caramel on top.
  • Pinch the dough edges then roll into a ball.
  • Fry in the hot oil until golden.
  • Remove the apple caramel bites with a slotted spoon.
  • Roll in the cinnamon sugar.
  • Serve hot, drizzled with caramel sauce if liked and/or paired with vanilla ice cream.
