Healthy Pistachio Bread
This simple recipe is easy enough for a complete novice baker to make. It’s nutty and sweet, and completely delicious.
- 3 boxes 3⅓ ounces each instant pistachio pudding mix
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- ¼ cup chopped pistachios
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- Green food coloring optional
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a pair of loaf tins.
Combine the cake mix with the eggs, pudding mix, hot water, and oil.
You can add a couple of drops of food coloring if you like.
Fold in the nuts.
Divide the batter between the pans and bake for about 45 minutes.
The pistachio loaves are ready when a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Cool the loaves then slice and serve.
