Christmas Eggnog Bread

You can’t go wrong with this incredible Christmas bread. It boasts the rich festive flavor of eggnog with spices, and it’s beautifully fluffy and light. This is a really easy recipe to follow and you’re sure to love the resulting bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 ¼ C. Flour
  • 1 C. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Baking powder
  • ½ C. Butter melted
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1 C. Eggnog
  • ¼ tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. Rum extract

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend together the butter, sugar, eggnog, rum extract and vanilla.
  • Add the eggs, and beat until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
  • Blend together the dry and wet ingredients just until combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a well greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45-60 minutes until completely cooked through.
  • Cool, and turn the loaf out of the pan.
  • Slice and serve.
