Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, blend together the butter, sugar, eggnog, rum extract and vanilla.
Add the eggs, and beat until smooth.
In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Blend together the dry and wet ingredients just until combined.
Pour the mixture into a well greased loaf pan.
Bake for 45-60 minutes until completely cooked through.
Cool, and turn the loaf out of the pan.
Slice and serve.
