Better Than Anything Trifle

Making traditional trifle recipes calls for a lot of time and effort, but that’s not the only way to make a showstopping trifle recipe. Take this one - all you need to do is combine candy bars, caramel sauce, cream, sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate cake, and the result will speak for itself. If you love chocolate and caramel, this is the perfect dessert for your palate!

Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz. Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 Chocolate cake baked and cooled
  • 1 ½ C. Caramel sauce
  • 5-6 Heath bars chopped
  • 16 oz. Cool whip

Instructions
 

  • Reserve a few of the candy bar pieces off to the side.
  • Cut the cake into 1 inch cubes.
  • Layer half of the cake into the bottom of a large serving bowl.
  • Top the cake with ½ of the condensed milk, ½ of the caramel sauce, ½ of the remaining candy bar pieces and half of the whipped topping.
  • Repeat the layers again, and garnish with the reserved candy bar pieces on top.
  • Chill for 6 hours before serving.
