White Cheddar with Bacon Pasta

Pasta recipes vary but this has to be one of the best. You just can’t go wrong adding bacon and cheese to a pasta recipe. It’s easy to make and even the leftovers are tasty the following day.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz. Cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz. Bacon pieces
  • 3 C. White cheddar shredded
  • 1 lb. Bowtie pasta
  • ½ tsp. Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • ½ tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 2 C. Milk
  • 2 tsp. Fresh chopped rosemary

Instructions
 

  • Boil the bowtie pasta in a pot of water until done to your liking. Drain well.
  • Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat.
  • Mix in the garlic, and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Add in the flour and salt, and stir for 1 minute.
  • Whisk in the milk until smooth.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese, paprika and pepper until the cheese melts.
  • Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Stir the noodles into the sauce.
  • Garnish with bacon and rosemary before serving.
