Buttery Swim Biscuits
You won’t believe how rich and moist these biscuits are. They contain a generous amount of butter but that’s what keeps them so moist and flavorful. They’re super-quick and easy to make too.

- 1½ tablespoons white sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 stick melted butter
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Mix the baking powder, salt and sugar with the flour.
Pour in the buttermilk and mix to create a moist dough.
Pour the melted butter into an 8-inch square baking pan.
Put the dough on top of the butter.
Spread the dough out evenly, using a spatula, until it touches every sides of the pan.
Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into 9 squares.
Bake the butter swim biscuits for about 20 minutes or until they’re golden on top.
