Skillet Mac and Cheese with Sausage and Bell Peppers
This is a one pan meal that the family is going to love. It could be the cheesiness of the dish, it could be the creamy sauce or it could be the Sausage and bell peppers in the dish. No matter how you look at it, any dish with Macaroni and Cheese is a great dish. This Skillet meal is very easy to make and you probably have all the ingredients that are needed already.

- 18 oz. Water
- 18 oz. Marinara sauce
- 8 oz. Uncooked elbow macaroni
- ½ C. Mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 Bell peppers chopped
- ½ C. Half and half
- 1 lb. Ground pork sausage
- Salt and pepper to taste
Place the sausage in a large deep-sided skillet on the stove. Saute over medium high heat until completely browned. Drain any excess grease.
Mix in the water, marinara, bell peppers and macaroni.
Turn the heat down to medium low, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the noodles are al dente.
Mix in the half and half and mozzarella cheese and stir to combine.
Let sit 5-10 minutes before serving.
