Baked Cabbage Steaks
This Baked Cabbage Steaks Recipe is a great way to enjoy cabbage in a new way. The cabbage is cut into thick slices and baked in the oven with a simple seasoning blend. The steaks are cooked until golden and tender, giving them a delicious caramelized flavor.

- ¼ tsp. Black pepper
- 1 Small head of cabbage
- ⅓ C. Chopped walnuts
- ¼ C. Olive oil
- 1 Small lemon halved
- 2 tsp. Minced garlic
- 1 tsp. Salt
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
Heat the oven to 400 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray well with cooking spray.
Slice the cabbage into thick “steak” slices about ¾ of an inch thick.
Place the cabbage steaks onto the baking sheet, and drizzle with olive oil.
Season the steaks with garlic, salt and pepper on both sides.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until tender.
Sprinkle the cabbage steaks with the walnuts, and add parmesan cheese for garnish before serving.
