Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Bacon Crumbled
  • 1 Head Cabbage Chopped
  • 1 lb. Smoked Sausage Sliced
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 2 tsp. Garlic Minced
  • ¼ cup Chicken Broth
  • 3 tsp. Caraway Seeds
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • ¼ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • ½ tsp. Seasoning Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Bacon Grease

Instructions
 

  • Add the sausage to a skillet over medium high heat, and saute until cooked through.
  • Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat on the skillet to medium and add in the bacon grease, onions and garlic.
  • Saute until the garlic has begun to soften.
  • Mix in the chicken broth, sugar, caraway seeds, seasoning salt, red pepper flakes and cabbage. Still to combine.
  • Cover and simmer until the cabbage has softened.
  • Stir in the sausage and bacon and serve.
