Crock Pot Manicotti

Crock Pot Manicotti

Crockpot is the way to go this holiday season. Try this cheesy and beefy Crock Pot Manicotti.

Crock Pot Manicotti

What you need to make Crock Pot Manicotti: 

1 Family Size jar of marinara sauce (I like Classico!) 

1 box of manicotti pasta

15 oz Ricotta cheese

1 egg

½ cup parmesan cheese

Spinach, washed and dried (optional) 

Italian seasoning 

Salt and pepper

Garlic Powder 

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

You will also need a Ziploc bag, scissors, and a slow cooker liner (optional). 

How to make this Crock Pot Manicotti: 

Step 1. Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray or line with a slow cooker liner. 

Step 2. Pour in half of a family-size jar of marinara sauce.

Step 3. In a bowl, add ricotta cheese, egg, and parmesan cheese.  Mix well.

Step 3. If desired, cut up some fresh spinach and add it to the cheese mixture. 

Step 4. Season with salt and pepper as well as a bit of Italian seasoning and garlic powder. 

Step 5. Transfer your cheese mixture from the bowl to a Ziploc baggie.

Step 6. Cut a small hole in the corner of the bag. 

Step 7. Pipe the cheese into an uncooked manicotti shell.

Step 8. Layer your shells over the sauce in the Crock-Pot.

Step 9. Cover the shells with the remaining marinara sauce.

Step 10. Cook on high for 2 hours. 

Step 11. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the pasta and cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes. 

Step 12. In a short amount of time, you will have a plate full of cheese, stuffed shells with an amazing sauce. 

Serve this Crock-Pot Manicotti with a side of fresh garlic bread and enjoy a comfort meal fit for a king.
