Make family dinner fun again with this Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Casserole. Casseroles are perfect for large families or for hosting a party. Just scoop and serve with easy clean-up!

This casserole is similar to an open-faced sandwich with the glorious flavors of hearty French bread, thinly sliced ribeye steak, provolone cheese, and your favorite toppings you order from your neighborhood sandwich shop. This is a steak and cheese like no other. Provolone cheese melts perfectly to coat your filling while the french bread holds up well with the weight of your filling.

You can serve the bread and topping whole or cut it into serving-size pieces for the little ones. Make sure to grab a bunch of napkins because it’s going to get messy but in a good way 🙂

Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Casserole isn’t too spicy and each ingredient is cut so finely that your little ones won’t even notice the green peppers and mushrooms added to their meal. We all know the struggle of getting kids to try new things.

Easily store in the fridge and reheat in the oven to ensure the top is bubbly and the filling is creamy.

What is the serving size for this recipe?

If you keep the bread whole then you will get two pieces of Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Casserole. You can also cut it into smaller pieces to share.

Can I use add any other toppings to the mixture?

If you like other toppings on your traditional sandwich, then go right ahead and include them. We recommend using crumbled bacon, a little bit of ketchup, tomatoes, green peppers, or red onions. Just make sure each ingredient is cut into small pieces so it all cooks evenly.
