Strawberry Milk Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 2 vanilla cake boxes
  • 1 C canola oil
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 C whole milk

Strawberry milk mixture

  • 2 C sliced strawberries
  • 1 C whole milk
  • 1 - 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 - 12 oz can evaporated milk

Whipped cream

  • 2 C heavy whipping cream
  • 1 ⁄2 C powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Fresh strawberries cut in half to decorate
  • 1 medium piping back with star tip

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking dish with pam baking spray
  • Using a standing mixer, beat the cake mixes, oil, milk and eggs until combined and smooth
  • Pour the cake batter into the baking dish and bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  • Allow the cake to cool for 20 minutes before poking holes all over the cake
  • Using a blender, combine the cut strawberries, milk, condensed milk and evaporated milk and blend until smooth
  • Pour over the cake, making sure to get the milk into the holes on the cake Place into the fridge overnight
  • Using a cold standing mixer bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form
  • Scoop 1 C whipping cream into the piping bag
  • Spread remaining whipped cream onto the cake and pipe dollops of whipped cream on the top of the cake
  • Place the sliced strawberries on the whipped cream dollops
  • Enjoy!
