This Western Omelette with Cheesy Cream Sauce takes your omelet to another level. This omelet recipe will please even the pickiest of eaters with its gourmet cheesy cream sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ¼ c Chopped onion
  • ½ c Chopped bell pepper
  • 5 oz. Cubed ham
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • ¼ c Heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ c Mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ c Cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add 1 tbsp oil to a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove.
  • Mix in the chopped onions and peppers, and cook for a few minutes until they begin to soften.
  • Add in the cubed ham, and cook for 1 minute more.
  • Pour in the beaten eggs, and scramble until cooked to your liking.
  • Mix in salt and pepper to taste, and remove the egg mixture from the stove.
  • In a small saucepan, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat on the stove.
  • Pour in the heavy whipping cream.
  • Sprinkle in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add in the garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir until thickened, and serve half of the egg mixture covered in half of the cheesy sauce.
