Are cinnamon bagels breakfast or dessert? With this keto bagel recipe, they can be both! Keto bagels are not quite as traditional bagels but they're still pretty darn good...and guilt free!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 c Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 c Almond flour
  • 1 ½ tsp Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp Swerve confectioners sugar substitute
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 Egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, stir well, and heat at 20 second intervals until the cheeses are completely melted and combined.
  • Add in the almond flour, Swerve sweetener, baking powder, vanilla extract and cinnamon powder. Stir until combined well. Sometimes this step is easier if you use your hand to mix the ingredients together.
  • Mix in the egg and beat on high until combined well.
  • Place a little water on your fingers,and separate the dough into 6 equal pieces. Form each piece of dough into a round bagel shape, and place on a well greased or parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. You can also freeze the bagels in an airtight container and defrost as needed.
