Egg Roll Stir Fry

A recipe that gives you more of your favorite take-out dish without the restriction of a wrapper. Sweet and tangy flavors blend together for the ultimate comfort meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs. Ground beef
  • ¼ C. Soy sauce
  • 1 C. Chopped onion
  • 1 Bag shredded cabbage coleslaw mix
  • ½ C. Shredded carrots
  • 3 tsp. Minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. Ginger paste
  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add one tablespoon of sesame oil to a skillet over medium high heat on the stove. 
  • Add the ground beef and onion to the skillet and saute until the meat is completely browned and the onion has softened. 
  • When the meat is halfway browned, mix the shredded carrots into the skillet. 
  • Toss the cabbage into the skillet, and cook until it begins to soften. 
  • In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger paste and other tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix to combine. 
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients in the skillet, and stir to combine. Continue to cook for another 3-5 minutes before serving topped with freshly chopped green onions.
