Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Bread Casserole
Casseroles are perfect for the family and this one has a savory and perfectly seasoned cheesesteak filling with peppers, mushrooms, and onions for a traditional flavor topped with golden brown cheese.

- 1 Loaf of French bread cut in half lengthwise
- 9 oz. Thin Sliced ribeye steak
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ¼ tsp. Pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 Bell pepper sliced
- 1 Onion sliced
- 4 oz. Mushrooms sliced
- ⅓ C. Mayonnaise
- 8 oz. Sliced provolone cheese
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Place the sliced bread open side up on a baking sheet and add a layer of mayonnaise to the top.
Layer half of the cheese slices on the bread.
Cook the steak meat in the oil until completely browned, and add the salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
In a skillet, cook the onions, peppers, and mushrooms in the butter until softened.
Add the meat to the top of the bread, followed by the vegetables.
Place the rest of the cheese slices on top.
Bake for 15 minutes.
