- ½ cup Water
- ⅓ cup Light Corn Syrup
- 2 cup Sugar
- 8 tbsp. Butter
- ½ tsp. Baking Soda
- 10 Oz. Pecans Or Other Nuts Of Choice Chopped
Add the water, corn syrup, sugar, and butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Heat until boiling, and then continue to cook until the temperature reaches 300 degrees, about 10 minutes.
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the baking soda, and then the nuts.
Spread the mixture immediately onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Allow the mixture to cool until hardened.
Break into pieces and serve.
