Ingredients
  

Ingredients for the Cake:

  • 1 15.25 Oz Box Spice Cake Mix
  • ½ cup Canola Oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 2 ½ cup Honeycrisp Apples Chopped

Topping:

  • ½ C white sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp steam sweet butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepared 13 x 9 inch baking pan with baking spray.

Cake:

  • Add the cake mix, oil, water and eggs in a large bowl. Use an electric mixer to combine all
    ingredients.
  • Fold in the chopped apples. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Add sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle the topping over the top of the batter. (Or if you prefer, spread the topping over the batter.)
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. (Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake if the toothpick comes out clean the cake is done)
  • Set aside to slightly cool. Cut into pieces and serve.
