Valentine's Day Peanut Butter Bars
My favorite holiday is the day of love; Valentine's Day! It's the day we show our partners and friends how much they truly mean to us.
Ingredients
- ½ C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
- ½ C creamy peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 C light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 C flour
- 1 C Valentines Day M&M’s
- ¾ C Valentines Day Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper
- Using a large bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg until combined and smooth
- Gradually beat in the flour until combined and a soft dough forms Fold in ¾ C of the M&M’s and ½ C of the valentines day sprinkles
- Press the dough into the baking pan
- Sprinkle the remaining m&m’s and sprinkles onto the top of the batter
- Place into the oven and bake for 24-26 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars
