Apple Pie Dougnuts are a crowd-pleaser when it comes to apple-picking season. This is one delcious way to make doughnts at home and bring Fall right to your table.

- 1 ½ C flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ¾ C light brown sugar packed
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ C buttermilk
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp apple pie spice
- 1 disposable piping bag
Streusel Topping:
- 12 tbsp unsalted butter softened
- ⅔ C sugar
- 1 ½ C flour
Vanilla glaze:
- 1 C powdered sugar
- 2-3 tbsp whole milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 8 oz Apple Pie Filling
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spay a doughnut pan with pam baking spray
Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and apple pie spice
Using a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, buttermilk, melted
butter and vanilla
Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients into the wet until combined
Scoop the batter into the piping bag
Fill the doughnut cavity with the batter
Bake in the oven for 11-13 minutes or until a light golden brown
Remove from oven and allow to cool
Remove the doughnuts from the pan and place onto a wire rack
Streusel Topping:
Combine all ingredients into a medium bowl
Using your finger, work the mixture into a coarse like crumble
Set aside
