Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Apple pie filling
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon Ground
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg Ground
  • 1 Jar of Caramel Sauce
  • 1 box of Spice Cake Mix
  • 2 sticks of Chilled Unsalted Butter cut into ¼ inch thick pieces

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray baking spray over a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  • Combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Stir to mix with a rubber spatula.
  • Pour the apple mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  • Use an offset spatula to smooth out the filling. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the filling.
  • With the rubber spatula spread the sauce evenly over the filling. Pour the dry cake mix over the layers of the apple filling.
  • Spread it evenly in the pan. Place the chilled butter pieces all over the cake pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. (The cake will be slightly browned and the filling bubbling. )
  • Set aside to cool slightly before serving.
