These Sea Salt Caramel Pretzel Cookies have real chunks of salty pretzels for that added crunch, and caramel and chocolate bites to balance out the pretzels. Wrapped into a soft cookie that is irresistible.
Ingredients:
1 ½ C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
1 ½ C light brown sugar, packed
½ C sugar
2 large egg
4 C flour
4 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp kosher salt
2 C mini chocolate chips
2 C caramel bites
2 C caramel chips
3 C crushed mini pretzel, lightly crushed
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper
Step 2: Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until combined
Step 3: Using a large bowl, cream together the butter, light brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy
Step 4: Add in the egg and cream everything together.
Step 5: Slow mix in the dry ingredients until the dough has formed
Step 6: Fold in 1 C of the chocolate chips, caramel bites, caramel chips, and crushed pretzels
Step 7: Mix the remaining 1 C of the chocolate chips, caramel bites, caramel chips and pretzels in a small bowl and set aside
Step 8: Scoop 2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto the cookie sheet and bake for 6 minutes
Step 9: Remove from oven and carefully sprinkle on some of the topping mixtures onto the cookies
Step 10: Place back into the oven and continue to bake for another 4-6 minutes or until lightly golden brown
Step 11: Enjoy!
