For the afternoons where you want to treat yourself, you have this Coffee Cake Banana Bread recipe to delight your palate.
The Coffee Cake Banana Bread is very easy to prepare, and you can eat it at any time and combine it with any other ingredient.
Ingredients:
4 Medium Bananas (Ripe)
2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
1 ½ tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
¾ tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 cup Sugar
2 Large Eggs
2 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
¼ tsp Kosher Salt
2 tbsp Sour Cream
Crumb Topping:
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 cup Flour
1 cup Light Brown Sugar
6 tbsp Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter (Cubed)
Directions:
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease two loaf pans.
Step 2. Using a small bowl, mash the bananas, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
Step 3. In a standing mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 4. Beat in the eggs one at a time until combine. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients together.
Step 5. Gradually beat the dry ingredients into the wet until combined. Beat in the sour cream until combined.
Step 6. Beat in the mashed banana mixture until combined.
Crumb Topping Directions:
Step 1. Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Step 2. Using your fingers work the butter into the dry mixture until coarse
like crumbs form.
Baking Directions:
Step 1. Spoon the banana bread batter into the loaf pan.
Step 2. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the batter.
Step 3. Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before removing and serving!
