Apple Pie Doughnuts
1 ½ C flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
¾ C light brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
¾ C buttermilk
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp apple pie spice
1 disposable piping bag
Directions:
Step One: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spay a doughnut pan with pam baking spray
Step Two: Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking
soda, and apple pie spice
Step Three: Using a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, buttermilk, melted
butter and vanilla
Step Four: Gradually whisk in the dry ingredients into the wet until combined
Step Five: Scoop the batter into the piping bag
Step Six: Fill the doughnut cavity with the batter
Step Seven: Bake in the oven for 11-13 minutes or until a light golden brown
Step Eight: Remove from oven and allow to cool
Step Nine: Remove the doughnuts from the pan and place onto a wire rack

12 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
⅔ C sugar
1 ½ C flour

1 C powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp whole milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 8oz Apple Pie Filling

Using a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, whole milk and
vanilla until combined
Building the doughnuts:
Step One: Dip the doughnuts into the vanilla glaze and place onto the wire rack
Step Two: Sprinkle some streusel on top of the donuts and scoop apple pie
filling into the center of the doughnuts.
